I don’t have time. I don’t like working out. I’m just a night person. It’s in my genes. Excuses, excuses. How have we allowed our excuses to find a permanent residence in our minds?!?!
Okay, I want you to picture the whiniest child you know. You know, that nephew/niece or friend’s child or maybe your own child that whines over EVERYTHING.
Okay, do you have the child pictured in your mind? Now, impersonate that child while saying the excuse that’s holding you back from healthy living. Don’t forget to kick at the ground and throw your arms down! Ready…1…2…3…GO!
How do you feel? Ridiculous, right? Hopefully your coworker’s secret filming of your tantrum makes it on YouTube so I can rate your performance! I’m hoping now you’re starting to feel just as ridiculous about your excuse as you do about your childlike outburst (insert inspirational quotes below).
