Ingredients
4chicken thighs boneless and skinless
2teaspoonsolive oil
2tablespoonshoney
1tablespoonbalsamic vinegar
½tablespoonsoy sauce
1lime juiced
4garlic cloves minced
½tspdried basil
1tspfreshly grated ginger
1tspsalt
½tspfreshly ground pepper
Instructions
Heat up a skillet over high heat. Add a splash of oil to it. Season chicken on both sides with a light sprinkle of salt and pepper. Add chicken to skillet and cook on both sides until just browned. Don’t overcook the chicken. Just make sure to get a quick sear. Meanwhile mix all the other ingredients together to form a sauce. Once chicken thighs are seared, transfer them to the slow cooker and pour the sauce on top. Cook on low for 2-3 hours.
Serve with rice and vegetables. Place chicken on top of the rice, spoon sauce remaining in the slow cooker over it.
